Today the video for Tyga’s track featuring Lil Wayne was released. The video produced by Colin Tilley, shows a humorous bobblehead version of both Tyga and Wayne. Tyga is surrounded by women and gold. Images of where the minds of the two artist go when they’re faded. I think so.

Everybody loves a beautiful bad girl in rebellion against the rest of the world. Former Pussycat Doll member is just that. Her implementation of sound from different eras of music such as the 60’s and 70’s display her full capabilities. Her vocal range demands you pay attention and listen up.
“Piss On Your Black List has nothing to do with being a rebel or fighting against anything. It has everything to do with fighting for myself,” said Melody. “It’s clever with attitude. It’s kind of funny and gets a strong reaction; all things that, at times, describe my art.”

Los Rakas represent pan-American flows. Two cousins who grew up in Panama before spending their teens in Oakland, California, Raka Dun and Raka Rich put a distinctive “Panabay” twist on hip-hop and reggae, bridging the streetwise sounds of the places they’ve called home. Drawing on Panamanian plena’s faithful approach to reggae classics and the Bay Area’s independent and idiosyncratic hip-hop scene, Los Rakas merge familiar dancehall melodies with a lyricism all their own.
They have toured with reggae artist, Collie Buddz, and have done feature performances at JazzReggae Fest at UCLA. This year they are on the line up for So-Cal’s most hyped hip hop attraction Paid Dues. Check out the duos website where you can download their music at losrakas.com

After learning that he had been infected with HIV virus on Nov. 7, 1991, Magic Johnson retired from playing with the Los Angeles Lakers. It is now a decade later and he is still living a healthy lifestyle. His fight against the virus shows that you can live a productive lifestyle regardless of the infection.
Johnson has not made living with HIV stir him away from “living.” Of course he has the income to provide himself with all kinds of leisure activities that may relieve his stress. Nevertheless, Johnson has taken rare celebrity action and has taken responsible toward his role and influence on society. Since being infected with the virus Johnson has created a multitude of foundations under his name and business whose proceeds go directly towards funding research towards HIV/AIDS and helping other families.
“The only problem is, I would be happier if the numbers in the black and brown communities would go down,”Johnson says. Every year there are 60,000 new cases of minority men and women diagnosed with HIV. Johnson says.”There’s been millions of people that have died since I announced 20 years ago, and so this is a bittersweet day. Yes, I’m living, but people are still getting this virus even as we speak. We must change the mindset, and we must do a better job educating those who live in urban America about this disease.”
Magic Johnson’s willingness to talk about HIV/AIDS as a way create awareness is admirable. His ability and strength to persevere and take an active role towards fighting the spread and finding a cure, is honorable.
